Lunch at Fixer Upper’s Magnolia Table

If you are a fan of Fixer Upper, then you know Chip and Joanna opened up a restaurant in Waco, TX. Their restaurant was featured in Season 5, Episode 17. I was excited to see the restaurant in person and try Jo’s famous biscuits. Man was I not disappointed!! I love how much detail Jo and Chip put into everything they do! From the mosaic flooring to the drink menu, everything was thought out!

When you arrive at the restaurant, located at 2132 S Valley Mills Dr Waco, TX 76706, it seems to have plenty of parking even if it looks full. Magnolia Table does not take reservations. You will have to wait in a line (luckily under fans and a tent -if it’s hot) to get on the waitlist. Depending on how busy they are, it could be a 1-2 hour wait. They take your information down and will text you when your table is ready.

For our party of 2 on a Saturday, we had an hour wait. The time actually goes by fast because on the right side of the restaurant, they have a coffee shop where you can buy to go food, coffee and snacks. They also have souvenirs that you can’t buy in their main store. My friend and I sat in the shade and drank our lavender coffee and lavender lemon donut holes.

They also have another coffee bar with the same drinks and snacks in their larger waiting area. If you were to have a longer wait time, you could drive to their Magnolia store. It is about 10 minutes away.

When we were seated, we got to sit at the bar overlooking the coffee store. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, no surprise there! I loved all the leather details and really want to buy some of their chairs for my home. The menu had a good variety of breakfast, lunch and fresh juice choices! I really enjoyed the Farm Breakfast that my friend picked. It came with Jo’s delicious biscuits and strawberry butter. Yes you heard me right! STRAWBERRY BUTTER.
