I am often asked, why do you travel so much? Or how do you travel so much? My answer is simple. Because I NEED to. I live for traveling. If I go a few months without going on a trip, I go stir crazy. I was not made to stay in one place, for the rest of my life. I was made to get out, learn, explore, jump into cultures, be humble. Traveling gives me a high that I never want to come down from.
Traveling makes me humble. I learn to be grateful for what I have. I learn that I am not the center of the world. I learn to help others and learn about their cultures. I learn to donate and volunteer more. I travel to be more humble.
Traveling makes me happy. I do not stress when I travel. Traveling is the best kind of medicine for me. I let go of my anxieties and experience that world. I inhale the smells , that I would never get in Utah. I eat food that fills my stomach with warmth and joy. Traveling is my escape from reality.
Traveling is my college degree. I have learned more from being in the real world and exploring, than some of my classes I have taken at a university. Traveling opens you up to a world of history, you knew nothing about. Traveling offers real world experiences to raw cultures of pain, happiness and suffrage. Traveling is my life lessons.
This is why I travel.
Why do you travel?
“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta
